1. Allowances belong to the fare
Each airline sets the checked and cabin baggage allowance for each fare type, route and cabin. Two travellers on the same flight can have different allowances if they hold different fares.
2. What we show
Where the airline publishes it, the quote and itinerary show the checked baggage allowance. Please confirm it against the airline's own information before travelling, as airlines can update their rules.
3. Extra baggage
Additional bags, overweight items and sports or equipment baggage are sold by the airline under its own pricing. For bookings made through us we can request extra baggage and show the airline's charge and our service fee for approval.
4. Connecting and multi-airline trips
When a journey involves more than one airline, the baggage rules and whether bags are checked through can differ. We flag this in the quote where we can identify it.
5. Business equipment
Laptops, samples, display material and batteries are subject to airline and security rules. Lithium batteries in particular are restricted in checked baggage. Check with the airline before packing.
6. Lost, delayed or damaged baggage
Report problems to the airline at the airport before leaving the baggage hall and keep the reference it gives you. Claims are decided by the airline.
